Appearance
Thian carries the Halifax look, but it sits on him less cleanly than it does on his brothers. Dark hair, sharp features, the same cold eyes — yet there’s a restlessness in him, a need to prove something that the stronger sons never bother with. He dresses well, but there’s always a slight excess to it, as if he’s trying to look more important than he feels.
Core Nature
Thian is clever, but not wise. He is capable of cruelty, but it often comes from insecurity rather than purpose. Where his brothers correct with precision, Thian corrects to feel larger. He is petty when ignored, sharp-tongued when threatened, and prone to small acts of spite when he feels his place in the family is being overlooked.
He brought Celeste into Cold Steel. That single act is the most significant thing he has ever done, and he has never fully recovered from the way the rest of the family absorbed her without giving him the credit he believes he is owed.
Relationship to the Family
Thian lives in the shadow of stronger men and knows it. He is still Halifax — still bound by the same laws of blood and hierarchy — but he lacks the quiet certainty that defines his father and many of his brothers. This makes him dangerous in a smaller, more personal way. He is the kind of man who will use a rule to hurt someone simply because he can.
